Abstract:
The ARPIB project aims to explore the potential of an innovative concept of eco-compatible rechargeable aqueous battery based on the insertion of protons under mild aqueous conditions. In parallel with the proof-of-concept demonstration, fundamental studies will be undertaken to elucidate the fundamental aspects governing the efficiency of proton insertion/desertion process coupled to electron transfer in various metal oxides depending on the nature of the aqueous electrolyte.
