Respore revisits the Fête de la Science!
For the fourth consecutive year, Respore will present the activities of its member laboratories to the general public on the occasion of the 29th edition of the Fête de la Science. Meet us from October 2 to 12, 2020 around fun and participative activities.
Online games
In this particular context, it is first online that you can play with porous solids.
With a puzzle game around the research in porous solids science first. Inspired by our members' research projects, it will allow players to discover various applications of porous solids in health, energy and the environment.
Respore has also joined forces with DIM Sirteq, Elicit, MAP, STCN in a second online game that opens the doors to research networks in the Ile de France region. The opportunity to discover our universes in just a few clicks.
These two games will be accessible from October 2 on all our partners' platforms - Sorbonne University, Paris Saclay and ENS - but also on our social networks! The games are also directly accessible by clicking here for the Respore game and here for the inter-DIM game.
An activity for schoolchildren will also be proposed on the Sorbonne University's Online Science Village to allow a class to discover the behind-the-scenes of the game and the researcher's job. Cédric Boissière, research director at the Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matière Condensée in Paris, and Claire Galland Zerpa, Communication Manager at Respore, will lead this meeting.
Board game
But the DIM Respore also travels to meet you! In the Science Village at La Commanderie, put all your senses on alert and discover through our board game the importance of porous solids and their presence in the world around us. On the program: encounters, experiences, challenges. To do so, come to La Commanderie in Saint Quentin en Yvelines on Saturday, October 10th from 2 to 6 pm.
An object, a scientist
On the occasion of Science Day, Respore launches a brand new video format. In this series "An Object A Scientist", our researchers explain their research in the science of porous solids through everyday objects.
New videos on projects funded by Respore are also online on the DIM Respore Youtube channel and on our website.
Porous Universe Exhibition
Finally, our photographic exhibition "Univers Poreux" can be seen by appointment at the Espace des Sciences Pierre Gilles de Gennes.
