Magnétomètre SQUID - MPMS-XL7

General description

This instrument performs magnetic and photo-magnetic measurements of solid or liquid samples in static and/or alternative magnetic field, in a large temperature range. The options “Horizontal rotator” and “Oven” are available, as well as laser light sources and Xenon lamp allowing sample irradiation during its measurements.

Main technical features 

• Temperature range : 1.8 – 400 K (800K with oven option);
• DC magnetic field : -7 – 7 Tesla;
• AC magnetic amplitude : 3.66 Oe
• Wavelengthes of laser sources : 405nm, 532nm, 635nm, 808nm, 900nm et 1313nm

Préparation des échantillons

To avoid any magnetic contamination during sample synthesis and sample monting. Powder sample is gently crushed et mixed in preference with a viscous diamagnetic liquid (Paratone, C22 etc).
