Laboratory for light element studies (LEEL)

Renewable energies, Time resolved and multi-techniques characterization
The research of our team is devoted to the behavior of light elements in materials for energy (Li-ion and Li-air batteries, all-solid-state-batteries, Mg-ion batteries). The activities drive from the synthesis of materials to their structural and physicochemical characterizations. An original contribution is made via the specific tool of our laboratory: the nuclear microprobe (220m2 equipped with a Van de Graaff accelerator to generate 4 types of light ions: 1H+, 2H+, 3He+, 4He+).
