Abstract :
The project is aimed at developing a polymeric membrane for the insertion of a biological nanoporein order to perform single-molecule analysis of peptides and proteins in the context of industrial applications. The polymeric membrane is proposed to replace the lipid bilayer membrane used in academic laboratories, whose fragility is not compatible with industrial applications.
Envisioned applications are, at short term, the development of an in vitro diagnostics medical device to identify rare and aggressive tumoral cells based on their protein biomarkers content and, at longer term, sequencing of peptides and proteins
