Abstract:
Our project concerns to implement a high-bandwidth amplifier coupled to a nanopore for analysis of peptides and polysulfides. This project promotes the synergy between three groups:
A MHz-bandwidth amplifier would be used to detect molecules as short as 2, or even one, amino acids in length which is a necessary step toward peptide and protein sequencing and also crucial to monitor an enzymatic activity by detecting and discriminating substrate and product molecules that differ only by a chemical function (Lambe , Hôpital Lariboisière, C2N).
This high-bandwidth amplifier would be used to electrochemically reduced polysulfide species as short as 3, or even one, monomer unit in length.
This high-bandwidth amplifier will be also used to support the project “Li polysulfide electric detection / analysis by Nanopore and organic membrane design to improve Li-Sulfur battery performances” (College de France, Lambe, C2N).
