The field of activity of the team Porous and fractured media lies athe frontier rheology/fracture mechanics/soft matter. Our approach is to improve various domains fromthe conservation of artworks, storage of nuclear waste, mechanical strength of materials and bonding processes.
Experimental and numerical investigations help significantly to the understanding of transfer process, fracture process and mechanics of heterogeneous materials.
