My research activities focus on the implementation of upscaling methods and micromechanical analysis for modeling the behavior of geomaterials and building materials. This approach allows to use information available at the microscopic scale on the physical phenomena and the morphological properties of the studied material to characterize its macroscopic. These analyzes are developed to deal with essentially theoretical problems (bubble suspensions in "soft" solids, behavior of unsaturated porous materials, etc.) or to solve problems of practical interest (elasticity, thermal conductivity or permeability of solid foams, ...).
