Brochard Laurent

My research focuses on the mechanical behavior of geomaterials with special interest in phenomena involving small scales. Notably, I use molecular simulation tools and micromechanics. My work include the study of adsorption-induced deformations, cracking,  and thermal couplings wit applications to clays, source rocks and cements.
