Nonlinear optical spectroscopy platform
Characterisation of optical vibrational and electronic properties coupled (or not) of surfaces and interfaces (metals, semiconductors, molecules, biomolecules and films), in the 3 fundamental states of the matter (solid/liquid/gas).
Main technical features
- Picosecond (~15ps) pulsed laser tunable in wavelength:
- Infrared: 2.5 - 8 µm.
- Visible: 420-700 nm.
- Measurements of vibronic 2C-SFG spectra with respect to the IR or visible wavelength. Data acquisition by high resolution spectrometer.
Sample preparation
- Chemical functionalisation of crystalline, nanostructured or rough solid surfaces, at ambient air, in solution or in aqueous medium.
