The Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory research focuses on the preparation and the investigation of the physical properties of functional coordination networks that can be porous, multiscale, nanostructured, magnetic, semi-conducting, luminescent or possess two or more of these properties as well as the use of mesoporous oxide matrices to control the size, shape and spatial organization of the functional objects. Their potential applications span the domains of sensors, therapy and diagnostics, imaging and information storage. The design of devices integrating these systems is carried out in collaboration with other groups.
