The main research theme related to Respore is the development of porous electrodes (activated carbon, TiOx) for application in electro-oxidation processes for water treatment. This research theme includes (i) the synthesis and characterization of these materials (ii) the integration of these electrodes in innovative devices (iii) the study of reactive transport mechanisms at the electrode-liquid interface.
