The originality of LCPB resides in the multidisciplinary approach in catalysis and biocatalysis, at the interface between chemistry and biology. The general research project aims at combining the concepts and methods of protein chemistry, on the one hand, and synthetic chemistry, on the other hand, in order to better understand key aspects of biocatalysis and homogeneous/heterogeneous catalysis and develop a rationale for the design of synthetic, molecular , solid or hybrid porous catalysts.
